Homeschool Social was established in 2019 as a specialized directory, bridging the gap between charter homeschool vendors in Southern California and families seeking their services. Our founder, Nicolette, a dedicated mother of four homeschooled children, was driven by both her passion and the pressing need to ease the process of finding the right vendors for homeschooling parents. Initially, we catered to just four local charter homeschools, but our aspirations were always far-reaching.
The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic thrust countless parents into the uncharted waters of homeschooling. It became clear that there was an urgent, nationwide demand for a reliable and efficient resource hub. This was a rallying cry for Homeschool Social, and we rose to the occasion. Acknowledging the widespread need for guidance and resources, we began an ambitious expansion in 2022, steadily broadening our horizons to encompass a national audience. Our ongoing growth is fueled by our objective to eventually serve all 50 states, ensuring that quality resources are accessible to homeschooling families across the country.
