Marcy Cook Math

Marcy Cook's math materials for pre-school through grade 8 are reasonably priced and include tile activities, books focusing on number sense, games for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as place value and estimation. Marcy truly believes in math as a thinking sport and combines thinking/reasoning/problem-solving with basic skills and mathematical concepts. Marcy has presented workshops for thousands of teachers across the US and in over two dozen foreign countries. Marcy especially recommends tiling tasks in the various content areas; each packet consists of 20 tasks where students place number tiles 0 through 9 once and once only on each card to achieve the completed task.
