    Join us for our 5th annual Western Lifestyle Photography workshop, in the beautiful mountains of Northern Idaho this Fall! We will take advantage of the natural beauty of the area during prime Fall color, and the gorgeous light North Idaho has to offer while photographing authentic cowboys and cowgirls on this fifth-generation ranch. You will be fully immersed in the Western Lifestyle while you stay and learn how to photograph everything our Western Lifestyle has to offer. This workshop is geared toward everyone from amateurs to professional photographers. If you are looking to improve your photo skills, fine-tune specific areas, go back home to apply your enhanced skills, ad to your photo portfolio, or just want a true western experience and northern hospitality during a once-in-a-lifetime relaxing photographic vacation, then this is for you! New this year, we will include model and site releases with the workshop. What does that mean? That means the photos you capture during the workshop are yours to use for personal use, to promote yourself on social media, or to sell physical or digital images. The workshop is limited to 10 people to allow the instructor to work with you individually and help you develop your skills. During your shoot times on the ranch, you will photograph a multitude of western life while having the instructor right there to help you along. Between shoot times, you will have the opportunity to edit images on your laptops with whatever software you are using. However, we strongly suggest using Adobe Lightroom. Amy shoots Canon and uses Lightroom for cataloging and editing. You will get a lot more out of the workshop if you have an editing system in place and understand how to use it prior to arriving at the workshop. It is best to understand the basic functions of your camera and equipment. However, your instructor can help you work through choosing which settings are available for different scenarios to get the look you are striving for.     Molly and Dolly are a team of nine-year-old draft mares. These girls have been working on a guest ranch providing the horsepower for sleigh rides since 2016. Prior to that, they worked on an Amish farm. They have proven to be a great driving team and are a lot of fun to drive. They are completely sound and do not have any blemishes or any prior injuries. Dolly had 30 days of riding training a few years ago but has not been ridden since. They have not raised any foals for us but they would sure make some nice half draft babies.     Smartest Lil Legend aka Highball is a 2009 AQHA 14.1 hh gelding who has done it all. He has been used in cattle sorting competitions, 4-H, drill team, trail riding, and roped the hot-heals. He hauls, is good with his feet, has been tied on a highline, rides out alone or in a group, easy to catch, no vices. We have owned him since he was two. Gentle enough for a handy kid. This is a fun, handy little gelding with lots of personality that can do any job you point him at.
    This beauty is looking for a new person. Six year old registered paint. He is ready for a new trail riding partner, however not a beginner horse. He has been ridden a lot of miles by our wranglers leading rides. He will go where you point him and has a nice ground covering walk. He can do the basics in the arena but does not love that type of work. He is sound and sane. $6000.00
