    Youth Music Outreach is pleased to partner with Westmont College for its 2007 Summer Music Camp from July 9-21. Nestled in the beautiful Santa Barbara hillsides, YMO's Summer Music Camp offers a unique experience, combining top musical training with a deep spiritual commitment. In this non-denominational, two-week, residential camp for intermediate and advaned musicians, ages 12-18, students will play some of the top concert and jazz band compositions, take classes in music theory and history, a

    The Westmont Education Department honors its elementary and secondary student teachers and their cooperating teachers.
    Dr. Scott Lisea has been the Campus Pastor of Westmont since 2018 after nearly 30 years of experience in the ministry and education spheres. He has an undergraduate degree from Westmont College, and a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate from Fuller Seminary
    Colleen has been attending Free Methodist Church since coming here as a college student in 1988. The church she found then was eager to know Christ and love others, which is still true today. After graduating with a B.A. in Developmental Psychology from UCSB, she worked full-time at Cliff Drive Care Center, a true time of joy and learning. She received her Masters of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University and is currently working on her Doctor of Ministry at Portland Seminary. She has been married to Mark, a Mathematics Professor at Oxnard College, since 1992, and they have a daughter, Olivia.

    In a world of fear, division, and relentless suffering, is it possible to find lasting joy? If so, how can we do so without simply ignoring the challenging realities of our life and times? In his well-known teaching in John 15, Jesus offers vital wisdom that addresses these questions and more. In our time together, we will explore how Jesus invites us to cultivate a joyful life of abiding through relaxing deeply in his unconditional love. Such a habit of abiding far from shrinking our life expands it to include loving engagement with a world where joy and hope seem in short supply.
