Art Flying Aerial

Rubi and Yolanda Reyes (sisters) opened Art Flying Yoga in Walteria, Torrance in 2012 – 2016. The business boomed and Aerial Hammock & Silks became a large part of the business that they couldn’t keep up with due to space. Their brother Manuel, along with brothers Nick and Enrique opened up Art Flying Aerial in Lomita in 2014 to expand the Aerial business. In 2016 Art Flying Yoga moved into the Art Flying Aerial building.

Manuel who you’ve probably met checking in is the main face and answerer of all questions. Nick and Enrique co-manage and all three are artists, painters and lovers of the creative movement. Rubi runs the Aerial Programs as well as Teacher Trainings and even Thai Massage! Yolanda runs the Belly Dance and Zumba classes as well as teaching Aerial Arts. Their mom makes sure no one gets into trouble and can often be found cooking something in their Outdoor Zen Garden or crafting jewelry sold in their in-house boutique.

Specializing in aerial circus classes and/or private lessons in Silks, Static Trapeze, Rope, Lyra, Hammock, Straps, & Spanish Web, AFA has a class for you! The ground classes include Partner & Group Acrobatics, Yoga, Stretch & Flexibility, Dance, Zumba, and Tumbling & Handstands. The Youth Circus Classes combine all of these exciting skills into one class for the children. Offering 4-5 classes per day, courses offered include Aerial Arts, Yoga, ground classes and occasional workshops in related topics.
